While we as a global community continue to make strides in the equitable treatment of all individuals, there is still serious work to be done to ensure that every identity is not only represented, but truly valued. It is my constant objective in both my social and professional interactions to be mindful of the voices that are present in my discussions, and of those that are not and to actively seek those out.

I am committed to accurately and unapologetically represent the identities that shape who I am. Equally, I will not attempt to speak on behalf of a group of people with whom I do not identify, and to instead consult multiple individuals that hold that identity, working with them as thought partners to create the thoughtful and intentional content that I wish to see.
